Case Study – III

Background
The company a leader in the education sector, recognized the need to strengthen its first-line management as several high-performing team members transitioned into people leadership roles. The organization aimed to equip these emerging managers with the mindset and skills to lead with empathy, clarity, and accountability.

Objective – Build self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and leadership capability among first-time managers, enabling them to effectively lead teams and drive performance.

Scope of the Intervention – Designed and facilitated a five-month leadership journey to:
• Understand self and others.
• Develop emotional intelligence and interpersonal effectiveness.
• Enhance capability to hire right and build strong teams.
• Drive accountability through goal setting, KRAs, KPIs, and feedforward practices.
• Build trust and authentic team relationships.
• Adapt different leadership styles to suit the needs of the teams.

Outcome:
The program enabled first-time managers to transition into confident, emotionally intelligent leaders. Participants demonstrated improved team engagement, stronger feedback practices, and greater ownership in achieving organizational goals.

Total participants: 20

  1. The program comprised of one full day session every month on one topic.
  2. Assignments were given to the participants and they were required to complete the assignment in 15 days’ time and send it back to us.
  3. The assignments were checked and feedback in form of scores were given to the management and the participants enabling them to improve.
