Background
The Group, a leading real estate and construction organization in India, has long been at the forefront of innovation in the sector. Recognizing the under representation of women in construction leadership, the organisation took a bold step to challenge traditional norms and empower women leaders within its teams

Objective – Breaking Barriers in Construction: LEAD-HER-SHIP in Action

Scope of the intervention – The intervention involved a structured, year-long leadership development program including:

  • Workshops to build confidence, leadership presence, and network to excel in management roles
  • Mentorship & Coaching to provide guidance, accountability, and personal growth.
  • Reflective Learning sessions to enhance self-awareness, resilience, and decision-making.

Outcome: Through these initiatives, participants are not only driving results on projects but are redefining what leadership looks like in the construction sector.

The program:

  1. Total participants 20
  2. 3 full days sessions.
  3. One on one coaching sessions: for each participant and is of one hour per person per month for 3 months
  4. Group mentoring: This is done by an outside expert for 90 minutes where each participants get a chance to directly interact and ask one question to the mentor. The session is divided in two parts. First 45 minutes the Mentor shares his/her experience and the next 45 minutes are for the participants to ask questions. This is for 3 months.

Group Coaching: This is done every quarter, and we have such 4 sessions each of 90 minutes
